White Beach
Beach
White Beach is a stunning beach located in Zakynthos, Greece, situated next to the famous Navagio (Shipwreck) Beach. Renowned for its unique natural characteristics, White Beach features incredibly white sand and rocks, so bright that visitors often need sunglasses. The beach is also home to beautiful caves, making it an idyllic place for boats to drop anchor.
The crystal-clear waters of White Beach have a depth of around 20 meters, yet the sea bottom remains clearly visible, showcasing its vibrant marine life. The beach is scattered with large white stones—ranging from small to massive—that are smooth and comfortable to walk on. The shore itself is composed of tiny white pebbles mixed with larger white stones.
One of the unique features of White Beach is its proximity to two stunning caves, easily reachable by a short swim, making it an ideal spot for divers. Compared to the neighboring Navagio Beach, White Beach is less crowded and has fewer restrictions, offering a more relaxed and private atmosphere. Visitors can access the beach through boat tours, which often include a stop at White Beach, especially when Navagio Beach is closed. This serene and picturesque spot is perfect for those seeking a tranquil escape in a breathtaking natural setting.
